  4. STEP ONE UNDERSTAND THE PLAN OF SALVATION

  5. Plan of Salvation A. How does the earthly sanctuary help us understand the plan of salvation? • The earthly sanctuary was established to represent God’s plan of salvation and pointed to the heavenly sanctuary and the ministry of Jesus in heaven

  6. Plan of Salvation SANCTUARY SYMBOLS AND ITS MEANINGS • Morning & Evening Sacrifices Showbread and candlestick • The Day of Atonement ceremonies • The High Priest garments

  7. Plan of Salvation MORNING AND EVENING SACRIFICES It symbolized “their daily constant dependence upon the atoning blood of Christ.” (EGW, PP, p. 52) (Exodus 29:38-42) JESUS IS THE LAMB OF GOD

  15. Christ’s Intercession B. What promises and hope are there for us? Hebrews 4:16 • Jesus is merciful, generous and patient. • We can come “boldly” to the throne of grace where the Most Holy is seated.
