Dublin and Drogheda Railway • 1835 Thomas Brodigan of Pilton House suggested a railway from Dublin to Drogheda • 1836 First meting of Parliamentary Committee on bill • Bill received Royal Assent on 13 August • Government set up Railway Commission on 26 August
