  1. Turn in Chapter 12 outlines to the bin

  2. Finish Gallery Walk 1 • 1-2 min per station ( 2 left)

Four Corners part 2 • Use the Sources provided and answer on your poster: • How did new monarchies lay the foundation for the centralized modern state? • Use 1 piece of text evidence from your source to prove Spain/England did the above question through state monopolies, tax collection, military force, and/or dispensing justice • Use 1 piece of Text evidence from the Edict of Nates to prove France did the above question through establishing a state religion • Use 1 piece of non-text evidence (detail) from your last station or your notes to prove your assigned state did the above question through establishing a state religion • Give commentary for each

  5. Entrance Ticket • Follow the directions for your entrance ticket. • Turn into bin when done • Label page 18 “New Monarchies: Entrance Ticket”

  7. Use your Textbook to fill out Left half of chart. Goes on pg 20 • Filling out the left side: • Use the textbook to write brief facts about the technology and what it did • Required examples are listed in the top of the box • Right side: • We will do this probably on Tuesday • You’ll be assigned a corner and have to write why your technology facilitated European exploration and expansion the most • You’ll stand to your group and others will write down NOTES on the argument (not verbatim)
