Evaluation Association of Bhutan (EAB) is an informal association of Bhutanese evaluators, working towards the development of a professional evaluation culture. The EAB aims to register as a mutual benefit organization and has proposed a national evaluation policy for approval and implementation. The association focuses on individual membership and networking with international evaluation bodies and development partners. The EAB faces challenges in the registration process and financial resource mobilization.

THE WAY FORWARD/key results • Bhutan Evaluation Agenda 2016 – 2020 • Adapting the Global Evaluation Agenda 2016-2020/SDGs to Bhutan’s context and prioritizing it • National Evaluation Policy approval and implementation • Integrating EAB’s Communications Strategy & Action Plan 2016-2018 • Membership drive • Focus on individual members from various stakeholders
THE WAY FORWARD/key results Liaise closely with the Parliamentarians Forum on Development Evaluation for South Asia Networking with international and regional evaluation bodies and development partners – EvalPartners/IOCE, VOPEs/CoE-SA, IDRC, 3ie, UNICEF, ADB, WB, EU, APEA, Rockefeller Foundation etc. Financial resource mobilization – post registration with CSO Authority
