  6. Prevention is better than cure: If your natural stone flooring is pre-impregnated with BS 20 Betonschutz basic protector before being laid, you will have no cause for complaint!

  7. Grundschutz BS 20 Betonschutz pre-impregnating basic protector is suited for exterior and interior use on granite, gneiss, marble, limestone, cotto, concrete, etc. Just impregnate all sides of the stone slabs or tiles before laying them.

  8. Pointing residues and building soils may be easily removed.Water staining is being avoided since no more moisture will come through the stone to its surface. The product is suited for application to extremely absorbent material, granite and hard stone such as Cashmere White, Padang etc.

  9. Surfaces treated with the product are water and dirt-repellent. The product does not affect any adhesive bond (to cement, mortar or pointing material). It may be applied to moist surfaces (using a lambskin roll or brush, by spraying or dip-coating the slabs). Diffusion of water vapour is granted. The product has been tested and certified by an institute of science.

  10. Description BS 20 Betonschutz pre-impregnator was especially developed for rough and very porous materials. It is ideal for interior and exterior application to all kinds of stone - except for any type of slate. BS 20 Betonschutz pre-impregnator is dirt- and water-repellent and therefore best suited to be applied during the laying process: If the product is applied before laying the stone, it prevents cement blurs and protects against stubborn soils and jointing material residues. And what is more, treating the undersurface of the stone slabs prevents the formation of so-called "water stains". We recommend the treatment with BS 20 Betonschutz pre-impregnator when the stones are still moist.

  11. Application Use a soft roller or brush to evenly apply BS 20 Betonschutz pre-impregnator to the absorbent and clean surface. Before applying BS 20 Betonschutz pre-impregnator, the treated surface should be cleaned with StoneCleaner for brilliant shine. Important: Make sure that all adjacent surfaces of glass, polished material, plastic, stainless steel and aluminium as well as furniture etc. are carefully covered. Switch off the floor heating.

Once the treated surface is completely dry, BS 20 Betonschutz preimpregnator does not cause any risk to human health. Wear protective gloves and eye protectors.
