Join us for an interactive meeting where we explore random "What if?" questions and their hilarious answers. Don't forget to pay your dues and participate in our upcoming events!

Welcome NHS Members! Our third meeting of the 2015-2016 year!
GAMETIME! • What if? • On one card, each member writes a random questions starting with, “What if . . .? For example, “What if your cat could talk?” or “What if vegetables tasted like candy?” • On the second card, they write a possible answer such as, “They might ask you to breed pet mice.” or “We would want to eat them all the time.” • When all the memebers are done, collect all the note cards, divide them into questions and answers and shuffle them. • The leader or host picks a random question and answer and reads them aloud. There will be some hilarious results.
Important reminders • Please pay your $15 dues to Ms. Kennedy ASAP • Paper Recycling: 2 sessions are required by every member monthly. Each collection day counts as 0.5 point. Paper recycling will be done twice a month as a club: the first Thursday & third Thursday of each month. • Don’t forget to wear your NHS shirts to each monthly meeting to receive a point (Please wear the shirt throughout the whole school day if possible) • If you haven't already signed up for the remind101 PLEASE text @616eb to 81010
Upcoming dates and point opportunities • Fall awards ceremony on October 20th- 6:30 pm, in the theater we will induct our new members then. • Our laser tag social will be October 25th @ the Stars and Strikes in Loganville (admission will be roughly $7.99) • Fall festival on October 10th (snellvilletourism.com) 3-7pm, on the Towne Greene • New London Theatre in Snellville volunteer opportunity. (talk to Philip) • Bruster’s ice cream coupons (APPROVED but only for one week)-Nov 2-9 • Bake sale (APPROVED but only for one day)-November 17th
Upcoming events • Cookies for cops • Making the cookies, bringing cookie dough • Teacher supply donation • Delivering the supplies, donating the supplies • Mentor Letters • Writing letters to a 5th grade class at Britt Elementary, giving advice about middle school • Rake and run is coming up • The beginning of November/end of October • Raking leaves in areas around South Gwinnett
Halloween Goody Bags • We will put these goody bags together sometime after October 20th (Our usual recycling meeting day is being moved around due to tight scheduling.) Donated to: • Rainbow House, a group foster home in Dahlonega, GA • We will donate items for teenage girls so include: • Nail polish • Candy • Ear buds • Nail files • Hair ties • Members can donate these things for points (bring it to our paper recycling meetings) • A Place of enlightenment, “A Place to Call Home” in Snellville, GA • We will donate items to a group of 40 kids on different ages so include: • Candy • Ear buds • Small toys • Members can donate these things for points (bring it to our paper recycling meetings) 2.
