  1. JRS Ringlock System • Scaffolding, also called scaffold or staging, is a temporary structure used to support a work crew and materials to aid in the construction, maintenance and repair of buildings, bridges Ship repair and all other man made structures.

  7. Base Jack • 1. Base Jack: The Screw jack is used as a starting base for a scaffold. It is adjustable in height to allow for compensation on uneven surfaces so that a level scaffold is always attainable. Types: • Screw Jack/Base Jack • Swivel Jack • U-Head Jack • Universal Jack Load Capacity: 37KN S.F= 4:1, At 12” EXT

  8. Base Collar • The Starter (Base Collar) is the beginning of the Ringlock scaffolding system. • It sits on the top of screw jack creating a lower load distribution point.

  9. Standard With Bolted Spigot • The Standard with Bolted Spigot is the vertical member of the Ringlock scaffolding system that utilizes a removable spigot. The rosettes are placed at fixed increments of 500mm to provide vertical support when attaching horizontal Ledgers and Diagonal Braces. Rosette: ø123mm Thickness: 9.6mm

  11. Ledger • The Ledger O-Type is the horizontal member of Ringlock scaffolding. Shorter Ledgers also known as transom used as horizontal support for Ringlock Planks. Ledgers O-Type are also typically used as mid rail and top guard rails.

  13. Diagonal Brace Brace diagonal and/or cross section bracing component. Batten or board decking component used to make the working platform. Coupler, a fitting used to join components together. Scaffold tie, used to tie in the scaffold to structures. Brackets, used to extend the width of working platforms.

  15. Planks • The Steel Plank is used to form the working platform. The number of Steel Planks used determines the width of the Bay. The Steel Planks span the length of  the bay and hook onto the supporting Ledger or Transom. There is an anti-lift system(wind latch) to prevent uplift in adverse weather conditions.
