Objectives • Target group: 8 – 12 year old children • Non-formal learning instrument • Teaching self-help and disaster-response topics in a playful way. • Invoking motivation for helping themes. • Strengthening the awareness of how important helping skills are: for you, for me, for my family, my friends, for everybody. • Strengthening personal commitment and the willingness to help. • Increasing self-help skills in the European society. • Increasing the notion of prevention in the European society. • Encouraging the children to apply learned things to real life.

How to play QuestCity? Registration & Login • Sign up with your email-address only. • Activate the conformation link in the email sent by QuestCity. • Create a password and start to play. • From now on you can log in with your email address and your password.
How to play QuestCity? Profile & Avatar • Define you own profile. • Create a phantasy-nickname. • Design the individual appearance of your avatar. • No real name or address is revealed. • No allocations to real persons.
How to play QuestCity? Home Area Switch to other languages. Enter the "World Map". Enter the "Rescue Shop". Trophies are awarded. Your help is needed!
How to play QuestCity? Playing a Situation • A small story tells you what happened. • Drop the jumbled handling steps into the correct order. You get experience and money points for each solved situation! The game level increases with your experience.
How to play QuestCity? World Map • The world map leads you to world wide mission quests. • Mission Quest = Theme specific group of situations. (e.g. "mountains", "flood", "fire") • A green 'Home' icon leads back to the home screen.
How to play QuestCity? Playing a Mission Quest • Situations are theme specific. • Repeat a situation as many times as you want. • Stars mark how well have done. • Gather the locked situations by solving other situations correctly. • Experience and money points are multiplied in a mission quest.
How to play QuestCity? Rescue Shop • In the shop you can buy rescue items. • You pay with your money points. • Each item has a minimum level you must have to buy it. • Some items are needed to enter special world wide mission quests.
How to play QuestCity? Team Play • Invite your friends and build up an own team. • Oliver, Tom, Lucy, Alex and Emma accompany you.
How to play QuestCity? High-Score • Compare yourself with other QuestCity players. • Check your rank in the high-score list.
