List of the main results expected from Montoir: 5. Certification of complete system ThisSYSTEM OPERABILITYqualification conforms to new European standards presently being written. • EN 1474 is being updated to include 2 new sections: • Design and testing of Cryogenic hoses • Offshore Transfer Systems…………. in which the Certifying Authorities have included that – “Where novel transfer solutions (new technology or novel application of known technology) are intended to be used, this technology is to undergo a recognized qualification procedure”
CONCLUSIONS: 1of 2 Complete full scale trials including instrumentation & control systems 80% of the results are from the studies and documentation 20% of the results will come from the on-site testing Open book co-operation with Certifying Authorities (B.V. and D.N.V.) and JIP members Oil & Gas + Operators participation and familiarisation through Joint Industry Programmes
CONCLUSIONS: 1of 2 Amplitude-LNG Loading System is both technically & commercially mature and will be complete with certification by Q4 this year Easy and repeatable Side-by-side (ship to ship) operations Opens up new Marine facilities architectures for both ends of the LNG chain Marine facilities can now include cryogenic flexibles and Pipe-in-Pipe systems
