  2. Influence of the SCENAR therapy on the muscle tone with pain syndrome

  3. According to statistics in Russia osteochondrosis is the disease that causes the greatest number of unemployable people.

  4. Usually the main cause for the expressed pain syndrome in the spine area is the excessive tension (activity) of the short deep muscles of the spine resulting in reflex spasm and block of the intervertebral discs.

  5. Other causes: local supercooling, disorders of internals also could provoke reflex muscle spasm resulting in of the fibromyalgia.

  7. 10 patients with severe pains in cervical spine were examined. All patient had electro-myogram of the pair skeletal muscles before and after the SCENAR procedures.

  8. Conclusion:one of the mechanism of pain relief in the course of the SCENAR therapy is the decrease of the muscle tone of the skeletal muscles.
