  5. Objective Take an application developed locally and deploy it to the cloud with Oracle Developer Cloud Service and Oracle Application Container Cloud Service. In this session, as a developer, you will: Learn how to build and deploy a RESTful Cloud Application to Oracle Application Container Cloud Service, using Oracle Developer Cloud Service. Learn how to deploy the application directly to Oracle Application Container Cloud Service Have an opportunity to build a simple application using Git and Oracle Developer Cloud Service. Run the deployed application using a REST service with an HTML-5 client application Use an Oracle Cloud Service account to perform the lab and access the Blackjack card game once completed. Using the Oracle University Development Environment 1) You will be provided with a log in to Oracle VPN to connect to the Oracle Network. 2) You will be provided with log in to an Oracle University machine for your lab. 3) Launch Oracle Secure Global Desktop to connect with the provided <instancename>.us.oracle.com Example : eg11140.us.oracle.com Confidential – Oracle Internal/Restricted/Highly Restricted

  8. Using the Oracle University Development Environment Note: To ensure uniqueness in the cloud account, please include your initials when providing names to projects in the cloud service. Example: If you see in the activity guide – “Project Name and Description as shown in the following screenshot and click Next”. The screen might show something like “BlackjackProj”. Test, Build, and Deploy the BlackJack Web Service App • Test the BlackJack app on your local development environment. • If necessary: Set up a replication policy. • Access Developer Cloud Service (DevCS). • Create a BlackJack Project on DevCS. • Create a Git repository in DevCS. • Clone your local Git repository . • Build the BlackJack application using DevCS. • Deploy the BlackJack application to Application Container Cloud (OAACS).   11. Deploy the BlackJack App Directly to ACCS • Access Oracle Application Container Cloud Service (ACCS). • Deploy the BlackJack Application directly to ACCS. • Test the BlackJack Application Deployed on ACCS. Confidential – Oracle Internal/Restricted/Highly Restricted
