Description of O6 • The proposed policy paper will consider 3 key issues: • the importance of in-service training for vocational education professionals if education provision is to achieve the penetration levels necessary to achieve the EU 2020 goals • the need to focus on new emerging opportunities like green entrepreneurship to foster economic growth • the importance of bringing the worlds of VET and work closer together by designing curriculum resources that are relevant to the market place • The policy paper will consider why a change of policy approach might be relevant; the policy options available and the pros and cons of each option. Finally the policy paper will recommend a course of action based on the experiences and lessons learned in the course of the GET-UP project.

  4. How we’ll do it? (1) • Code of colours used for description of activities: • Black or Blue – activities • Green – proposes deadline • Dark Red – issues to be discussed

  5. How we’ll do it? (2) UPIT has drafted “Questionnaire for developing a Policy Paper” All partners discuss during the meeting in Nicosia the first draft of the questionnaire and provide comments to UPIT UPIT develops the final form of the questionnaire and sends it to all partners - (one week after receiving all the comments from the partners – end of April?) All partners translate the questionnaire and apply it to appropriate stakeholders - (end of May?)(how many stakeholders?)

  6. How we’ll do it? (3) All partners analyse the answers and send a synthesis to UPIT (mid of June?) Composite report (O5) is done (end of July) UPIT develops the draft of Policy Paper based on 5 and 6 - (end of September)

  7. How we’ll do it? (4) All partners discuss with stakeholders and give feed-back to UPIT (discussions on Skype with project partners) - (26 October)(Do we need to prove and how do we prove the discussions with stakeholders? Do we need to have Skype discussion of partners?)In the Application it is written that: “The policy paper will also be informed by a series of discussions and Skype interviews with project partners and stakeholders over the lifetime of the project.”

  8. How we’ll do it? (5) UPIT develops the final version of Policy Paper (15.11.2018) SFEDI, Meath Partnership and FIPL check the English (23.11.2018) All partners translate the Policy Paper (03.12.2018) FIPL designs and layouts the document, INNOV uploads it on project website and Facebook page(05.12.2018)

  9. Budget of O6 UPIT - 20 days for researching and drafting All partners - 4 days for having the questionnaire completed with appropriate stakeholders and processing the answers UPB, UPIT, EUC, FUERM and INNOV - 2 days for translation IPL - 2 days for design and layout in all partner languages
