Rainford learned a very dangerous lesson that animals do feel scared and hurt and it was like Rainsford was the animal and the meal Rainsford hurt animals and thought that they didn’t feel pain or have feeling and he killed them and ate them and so on the island it become the other way around humans were hunted and killed and eaten by other animals that were mean just like rainsford was to animals Rainsford was scared when he was being hunted just like the other animals are the animals attacked him and Rainsford was running for his life like animals do when they are hunted I think that Rainfords finally realized this and learned that animals do have feelings.
