The playoffs The National Basketball Association (NBA) playoffs are a best-of-sevenelimination tournament among sixteen teams in the Eastern Conference and Western Conference (called Divisions, pre-1970), ultimately deciding the final four teams who will play in the conference finals.
About NBA the NBA stands for National Basketball Association. Founded in 1946, it has thirty franchised member clubs (29 in the United States and 1 in Canada), and is an active member of USA basketball. The best players get put into the all-stars team or there countries team in the Olympics
What they use in the NBA In the NBA they use a ball, the type the use is Spalding. They wear basketball shoes and they were a singlet and long shorts. They were head bands and shooting sleeves. They where them to warm up the arms to help them shoot better
Sponsors Some sponsors are Adidas, Nike, Air Jordan, Spalding, All play and many more to say. Nike: They pay the players to wear there shoes and accessories some of the players are LeBron James Kobe Bryant Kevin durant Adidas: They also pay there players to wear the brand. The people who wear Adidas are Derrick Rose, Dwayne Wade and Carmelo Anthony
Profits The average NBA team makes around 100 million dollars per year before expenses. Salaries take about 65% of the income, taxes and other expenses such as promotions take another 20%. so the average team makes about 15 million dollars a year in pure income. that does not include however the playoffs. Just an example here, but the Jazz lost about 5 million dollars the two previous years before last season. in the WCF alone the Jazz made 3.456 million per home game. so in two games the jazz recouped their losses for two years.
