  3. The Harp • The harp is a stringed instrument that is shaped like a triangle • It is the national symbol of Ireland

  4. The Bodhran • The bodhran is an Irish drum made from wood and goatskin • One hand hits the drum with a stick while the other is pressed on the other side to control the pitch • This is what it sounds like

  5. The Uileann Pipes • Uileann means elbow in Irish • The uileann pipes are bagpipes pumped by bellows at the elbow • Scottish bagpipes are blown
