  2. How to make Chemwatch MSDS Folder

  3. BASIC HOMEPAGE Begin by searching for chemical (example: acetone)

  4. Click desired chemical

  5. This screen show generic MSDS information. Click “Supplier MSDS” for your brand of chemical.

  6. Click “MyMSDS” button A new window should load that looks like this.

  7. Click the “Folders” button. Another new window should load that looks like this.

  8. This screen will appear. Click the “choose action” drop down menu, select “Create New Folder” option, and then click “Apply.”

  9. This box will appear. Type in any name and then click OK.

  10. How to find a created MSDS folder

  11. Click the “Folders” option.

  12. This screen will show up with all created folders given in the list above. Then click desired folder.

  13. This screen will open showing all MSDS reports filed into selected folder.

  14. How to add a MSDS to a created folder

  15. At the basic homepage, type in desired chemical name. DO NOT type in manufacturer’s name at this step!

  16. Select desired chemical from list that opens.

  17. The basic MSDS information screen will appear. Click “Supplier MSDS” button to search for your manufacturer.

  18. This window will now open. Search for manufacturer.Click empty box by it.Click “MyMSDS” button.

  19. The selected chemical and manufacturer will be automatically placed in the folder named “unfiled.” To move the MSDS to your created folder, click the empty box, then click the “choose action” drop-down menu and select the “move MSDS to folder” option. The selected MSDS will now be in your created folder.
