Continued Surface Water Quality Monitoring in the Murderkill River Watershed • Out of current 17 monitoring stations, 10 Monitoring stations will remain part of State’s core monitoring stations • 2 Stations are category 1 and will always be monitored monthly (Bowers Beach and Rt. 13 Bridge at Felton) • The other 8 stations are category 2 stations. Stations in this category are monitored monthly for 2 years and are monitored bi-monthly for 3 years. • Murderkill schedule for monthly monitoring is FY 2009 and FY 2013
