  2. Meet Šarović family We live at 1550m altitude in the village Virak, municipality of Zabljak. We are five-member family. Vanja is environmental protection engineer, husband Jole is a ranger in the National Park „Durmitor“. We have three sons, Ilija 6 years old and twins Aleksandar and Djordje, 5 years old. Živimo na 1550mnv, u selu Virak, opština Žabljak. Mi smo petočlana porodica. Vanja je dipl.ing.zastitezivotnesredine, a suprug Jole rendzer u Nacionalnom parku Durmitor. Imamo tri sina, Iliju 6 god i Aleksandra i Djordja, blizance od 5 godina.

  3. Svi smo različiti, a spajaju nas ljubav prema prirodi i ljudima. Poštujemo i čuvamo tradiciju i stare dobre običaje. We are all different, but united in love towards nature and people. We respect and care about tradition and good old customs.

  5. Location Domaćinstvo Šarović se nalazi u selu Virak, udaljeno od Žabljaka 5km, od Skijališta Savin kuk 300m. Nalazi se u Nacionalnom parku ,,Durmitor,, kuda prolaze glavne planinarsko-turističke staze. Located in the village Virak, 5 km from Zabljak and 300 meters from the ski resort Savin kuk.Settled in the National Park “Durmitor” intersecting the main mountaineers and tourist paths.

  7. Resources of Sarovic family • Četiri godine se bavimo smještajem. U ponudi imamo 8 kreveta sa kupatilom i restoran za 16 osoba. Gostima nudimo spavanje sa doručkom. • Accommodation for guests. We have 8 beds with a bathroom and a restaurant for 16 people. To our guests we offer bed and breakfast.

Posjeduje sopstveno imanje na kome proizvodi domaću hranu • Hrana se priprema na tradicionalan, orginalan način • Organizuje školu skijanja, • Organizuje edukativne radionice za učenike, • Posjeduje mnoge stručne sertifikate (dipl.ing.za zaštitu životne sredine, licenca vodiča u Nacionalnim parkovima i sl. • Pohadjali mnoge edukativne radionice iz oblasti marketinga, poslovanja, privatnog biznisa i sl. • It has its own land; local food is produced • Traditional preparing of food • Educationalworkshops for children • School of skiing • Many professional certificates (graduate engineer for environmental protection, licensed guide for national parks and similar. • Attendedmany training workshops on marketing, business, private businesses, etc..

Opis problemaLocal Context • Ručna radinost u turističkoj ponudi nije zastupljena, • Nema otkupa proizvoda ručne radinosti • Turisti nemaju šansu da upoznaju kulturu i običaje ovog kraja • Ponuda suvenira loša, uglavnom atipična za ovo područje • Lokalno stanovništvo sve manje njeguje tradiciju • Turistička ponuda se uglavnom odnosi na aktivnosti na otvorenom • Handicraft in the tourism offer is not represented • No organized buyingof handicrafts • No chance for tourists to learn about the culture and customs of the area • Poor offer of souvenirs, mainly atypical for this area • Local tradition cherished less and less... • Tourist offer mainly related to outdoor • activities
