  2. Colombia is located in the American continent

  3. LOCATION Colombia is located in the northwestern region of South America bordering to the east with Venezuela and Brazil; to the south with Ecuador and Peru; to the North with the Atlantic Ocean, through the Caribbean Sea; and to the west with Panama and the Pacific Ocean.

  4. FLAG It is a horizontal tricolor of yellow, blue and red, and has no symbols on it. According to the current interpretation, the colors signify Yellow - the richness of the Colombian land Blue - the seas on Colombia's shores Red - the blood spilled on the battlegrounds by the heroes who gained Colombia's freedom

  5. LANGUAGE The official language of Colombia is Spanish. The Colombian Spanish accent is the variance of Spanish language with an emphasis spoken in Colombia, which has some typical features compare to the Spanish spoken in Spain Over 60 nativelanguagesexistnowadayssuch as Ticuna, San Andrés-Providencia Creole, etc.
