What is Tiffany’s? • Tiffany & Co. is a U.S. jewelry and silverware company founded by Charles Lewis Tiffany and Teddy Young in New York City in 1837 as a "stationery and fancy goods emporium.” • Name was shortened to Tiffany & Co in 1853, and the firm's emphasis on jewelry was established.. Tiffany & Co. has since opened stores in major cities all over the world.

About the text….. • Truman Capote’sbest-loved work of fiction and arguably one of the finest American novellas. • Set in Manhattan's Upper East Side, during the final years of World War II • Documents the story of a young writer's fascination with, and affection for, his charming and troubled neighbor, the unorthodox Holly Golightly. • Simple, linear narrative: allowed Capote to refine his characteristically minimal, naturalistic prose style.
