Al-Qadr • No matter how hard we try Muslims believe that we don’t change things. • Allah is in control. • Allah knows everything that exists and happens.
If this is the case does luck exist? • Who or what do Muslims believe is responsible for everything? • Explain what is meant by it is part of Allah’s plan. • What is Al-Qadr? • Explain why Muslims don’t believe in chance or luck.
What about free will? • Allah gave humans free will but with it comes responsibilities. • Why then didn’t Allah make robots who just did what he wanted? • He wanted us to chose to do the right thing which might be why we have a conscience. • If people don’t then the must face the consequences (Judgment)

Fatalism • Doesn’t it make it pointless making a choice or decision as Allah has already decided? No , because what we decide will impact on our judgement on Judgement day. If there were no choices Allah wouldn’t keep trying to guide humans through the prophets, holy books etc.
