  2. Background Information on Liverpool • The team colors are mainly white and red, with a little bit of green. • The name of the stadium is the Anfield which is located in Liverpool, England • Liverpool as been in existence for 118 years. • The previous season’s record was 25-11-2 (W-D-L)

  3. Meet Liverpool 5 F FernandoTorres 0 GK Pepe Reina

  4. Steven Gerrard Age: 30 Position: CAM, CF, CM Career Highlights: Has been the captain for both Liverpool and England National team. Is the EPL all time leading goal scorer. He’s been with Liverpool for 12 years. He’s played in 376 appearances and has had 83 goals.

  5. Fernando Torres Age: 26 Position: CF & ST Career Highlights: Has made the Spain national team since he was 14. He continuously made the under 14-21 (except for 20). Player’s Stats: Has over 300 appearances with 2 different clubs. He has 82 goals with Atletico Madrid and 61 goals for Liverpool FC.

  6. Dirk Kuyt Age: 30 Position: RM, LM, CM Career Highlights: He scored in 2007 against AC Milan in the Champions League finals. Although they went on to lose 2-1 it was still memorable to him. He is a Dutch midfielder who has been with Liverpool for four years.Will work from the first minute until the last, is adept at holding up the ball and bringing others into the game.

Liverpool’s captain, Steven Gerrard, crosses the ball. The team celebrates after winning the FA cup finals. Pepe Reina stops a penalty kick shot by Robben. Dirk Kuyt traps the ball in the air.
