What are the Supplemental Activities? • 32 hours include: • Orientation completed in January (2 hours) • Course related inquiry based activities assigned by Dr. Eisenkraft(8 hours) • 6 online workshops (19 hours) • Attend a callback meeting to share your lesson and implementation experiences with other teachers in the Fall 2011 (3 hours)

  3. When must the supplemental activities be completed? • You have a choice • Weekly through the summer • By the end of June • Fill in the form to let us know your choice. • Also need to complete all surveys, classroom observations, pre-post content assessments, etc.

  6. Is there remuneration? Upon completion of all activitiesyou will receive: • PDP’s (number determined by your district) • $895 stipend

  7. What is the final product of the supplemental activities? • You will create an inquiry based student lesson based on the Electricity/Magnetism course content that you will use in your classroom. • After your lesson is created, we will transfer your lesson to a web page which will be available to you and other teachers in class/districts.
