  3. Rising Action Falling Action plotline Dr. Cider let Jemmy, Meg, and Amanda stay with him and go on the boat with him. The ship crashed on a island. Metting a creepy old lady. Mistress Trippett faints They build a raft to get off the island. Amanda is being mean to Meg and Jemmy. Amanda, Jemmy, and Meg’s mother dies. They find their father.

  4. Meg: she is Amasnda and Jemmy’s younger sister and always obeys a order. Amanda: she is Jemmy and meg’s older sister and keeps them safe. Jemmy he is the only brother of Meg and Amanda and he is brave and playful. Major characters

  6. In the book a sailor came to Misstress Trippet’s house and said that Jemmy, Meg, and amnada’s father is okay. They find out their mother is dead. Them get kicked out of the house. They live with Dr. Cider. He tells them they are going to America with him. The ship gets stuck on a storm and crashes on an island. They build a raft and get to America.
