School Dance Dates 2019 S1/2 Thursday 12.12.19 S3/4 Monday 16.12.19 S5/6 Tuesday 17.12.19 Pupils are reminded that if a pupil’s attendance drops below 90%, they will NOT be able to attend school events such as school trips/dances. Consideration will be taken of medical conditions/appointments impacting on attendance at school. Similarly, pupils with a high number of demerits and poor application in class will not be able to attend. N.B.   6. Chromebook Care Chromebooks do not like water or other liquids!!! Please keep your water bottle separate from your Chromebook Chromebook batteries do not like charging other devices! Please do not charge any other device e.g. mobile phones from your Chromebook, it destroys the battery. If anyone is still having logon problems please see Dr Mochrie in room 228.   17. Pupil Parliament Could all S1-3 pupils please go to your google classroom to make your nomination for class rep in the pupil parliament. S1-3 Expiry date: 06/09/19

  18. Science buddying and volunteering for Seniors If you are in S5/6 and would like to help out with S1-3 classes in Science see Mr Crawshaw or any Science teacher. See which periods are available and may match any private study times. Also there is a meeting after school on Wednesday 4 September if you would like to know more about helping out in science. See Mr Crawshaw if you want to come along, you do NOT need to be a prefect to buddy in Science! S5-6 Expiry date: 04/09/19

  19. Speechmaking Competition If you are a current S5/6 pupil and would be keen to participate in a local speechmaking competition in November,or would simply like further information, please speak to Mr Mackenzie in the English department by Thursday. S5-6 Expiry date: 05/09/19

  20. Instrumental Lessons There are currently spaces for S1 pupils to start playing woodwind, brass and percussion/drum kit. If you are interested, please see Mr Sutcliffe for more details. S1 Expiry date: 20/09/19

UHI DEGREE MODULE COURSES Any pupils studying Degree Module Courses – There will be an Induction and Enrolment session for UHI Degree Module pupils on Wednesday 4 September at 9.30am until 11.30am. Pupils who will be attending a Degree module this year should attend this session.
