How do we Return to the Basics & What Are They? • 1 Peter 2:1,2 - “grow thereby” • Hebrews 5:14-6:2 – “leaving the discussion of elementary principles of Christ, go on to perfection” • 2 Timothy 4:1-5 -“Preach the Word” • Acts 20:28-32 - Elders to shepherd • Elders who know any house must have a foundation before it can rise
What are some Basics? • Existence of God • Inspiration of the Bible • How to Study the Bible • What must one do to be Saved? • The blood of Jesus & what it does for the child of God • The church & the Christians’ relationship to it.
