Sebaceous Glands • Open into side of hair follicle • Produce sebum • Sebum is an oily secretion which lubricates & waterproofs hair & skin • Excessive secretion of sebum can caus acne vulgaris i.e. inflamed skin which develops pus filled pimples Act 4
