We will need - cloth - colourful threads - a needle
Procedure We cut off a longer piece of thread and pass it through the needle. We take a piece of clothe and begin to embraider different patterns. These patterns are inherited from our mothers or grandmothers or can be found in catalogues.
When a piece of cloth was embroidered, it could have been used as a towel, decorations for tables and walls. Embroidery is also nice on bed linen and it is most typcal for Slovak national costumes.
The most common embroidery patterns for walls were flowers, birds and sayings.
