  2. uDig About uDig • uDig 소개 • uDig는 자바언어를 기반으로 공간자료의 접속, 수정, 시각화 하는것을 목표로 제공되고 있는 데스크톱 GIS 이다. • 자바 기반의 Eclipse Rich Client Platform 으로 설계됨 • Geotools를 활용하여 구현함 • Windows 또는 Linux 운영체제 상에 설치한 후 쉽게 사용할 수 있음 uDig는 open source (LGPL) 어플리케이션 프레임워크를 따르며, Eclipse RCP(Rich Client Platform) 를 기반으로 개발되었다. 독립적인 어플리케이션으로 활용 가능 RCP “plug-ins”를 활용하여 확장 가능

  9. uDig About uDig 한글화 작업 개요 • Plug-In은 Eclipse를 기반으로 개발 된 응용 애플리케이션인 uDig의 확장 가능한 최소 단위 • Plug-In의 언어를 담당하는 *.properties파일로부터 한글을 지원하는 파일을 생성하고 영문으로 정의되어 있는 기본 값으로부터 한글로 번역하여 uDig에적용

  10. uDig About uDig 한글화 작업 ① 작업환경설정 • Plug-In의 확장과 편집을 통해 응용 애플리케이션 개발을 위한 Eclipse RCP 설치 • - Plug-In의 언어 번역 툴인 ResourceBundleEditor • - Plug-In의 제작, 관리, 배포를 지원하는 PDE Tools(Plug-In Development Environment) ② 한글화 과정 1. Eclipse RCP에서 번역하고자 하는 uDig Plug-In 디렉터리를 Import 하여 필요한 소스 작업형태로 받음 2. 해당 Plug-In 으로부터 각각의 *.properties의 파일편집을 지원하는 ResourceBundleEditor를 사용하여 영문으로 정의되어 있는 메시지를 번역 3. ‘net.refractions.udig’ Plug-In의 udig.product 파일을 이용하여 한글화가 적용된 uDig 애플리케이션을 생성한다.
