Polygons are 2d shapes that connect to each other to form a 3D object. • They are made of at least 3 vertex and joined on to each other at edge on edge
If the polygon has three vertices it is called a face. • This is what 3D programs call these shapes • If a polygon is quadrangular the 3D program will split it into as many faces as it can
