Getting Started: Personalize Toolbars (CTRL+Shift+T) On the Menu bar click the Toolbar Control button. On the keyboard press CTRL+Shift+T. Click on the boxes to activate or deactivate the toolbar icons. www.toolfactory.com
Getting Started: Create a New Tree Click the Create New Tree button on the Decision Tree toolbar. Drag images from the Resource Bank into the box or browse for images from your drive. Click OK. Type a question into the question area and click OK. Drag the objects into the appropriate answer group and click OK. Repeat the process until all the objects are sorted and your tree will be complete! www.toolfactory.com
Editing a Tree: Edit the Questions and Change the Yes/No Answers On the Menu bar click Tool Factory Decision Tree>Tree Options. Uncheck the box that says Tree Locked. Now just click in the tree on one of the questions or answers and type like you would with any normal text.
Editing a Tree: Change the Viewing Scale On the Additional toolbar click the Zoom In button to zoom in and the Zoom Out button to zoom out. It’s that simple!
Editing a Tree: Change Printer Limit You can set the total number of pages your tree will print on. To access the Page Setup menu click either the Page Setup button on the Additional toolbar or click File>Page Setup. Click the Viewer tab and then uncheck the Printer Limits check box. Now you can print as many pages as you want!
Special Features: Record the Question Click a question on the tree that you would like to record. Then, on the Menu bar click Tool Factory Decision Tree>Record the Question. Record Press Record and start talking into your microphone to record your question. Stop Click stop to stop listening. Play Click Play to listen to your recording. Remember, you can record as many times as you want.
Special Features: Clean Up the Tree On the Menu bar click Tool Factory Decision Tree>Tidy Tree. This will straighten up the tree and make everything tighter and neater.
Special Features: Editing Questions On the Menu bar click Tool Factory Decision Tree>Questions So Far. The questions created so far will be displayed. On the Menu bar click Tool Factory Decision Tree>Insert Question. This will insert a question box above where your mouse pointer is in the tree. On the Menu bar click Tool Factory Decision Tree>Yes<->No to reverse the answers within the tree.
Special Features: Play the Tree Game On the Decision Tree toolbar click the Play Tree button. Click either Yes or No to answer the question. Repeat the process until you get to the end of a path. At the end of the path you will be asked if this is the object you were looking for. Choose either Yes or No.
Special Features: Using the Expert Quiz On the Menu bar click Tool Factory Decision Tree>Expert. The Expert Quiz will ask you a question and you have to choose which is the best answer.
