B.E.S.T. Club Brookwood's BEST Club St. Patrick's Day Dance will be from 7-9:30 on Friday, March 9th in the Lodge. We hope that all BEST Club members will join us for the fun!

Last week, 36 students competed in the DECA State Competition at the Omni Hotel & the World Congress Center in Atlanta. DECA’s industry validated competitive events are aligned with National Curriculum Standards in the career clusters of marketing, business management & administration, finance, & hospitality & tourism.
The students listed below earned the right to move on to the International DECA Competition this April held in Salt Lake City, Utah. Freshman & sophomores The Brookwood Community Focus Grant/Scholarship is offering a scholarship that encourages you to develop your own innovative projects/programs that address small issues with the potential to make a big difference. Students should be prepared to complete an application that clearly describes their proposed project & outlines an organized plan of how a solution/plan to solve this issue would work.
Freshman & sophomores Up to three grant/scholarships will be awarded to students whose projects meet the criteria and who demonstrate through their application and interview the strongest ideas, plans and commitment. Applications are available in the counseling office. Deadline: March 14
Attention any student who is interested in running for an executive or class office for next year's Student Government Association. There is a mandatory potential officer boot camp this Saturday, March 3rd, from 9-11:30 a.m. in Room F1.
Through the Months of March and April (beginning March 1st and ending April 30th), Brookwood staff, teachers, community members, booster club, students, and parents can visit Nash Chevrolet and test drive a Chevrolet vehicle. Nash Chevrolet will donate $50 to Brookwood for each test drive! Please support your school by taking advantage of this fundraising opportunity.

Seniors: Balfour will be returning one last time so you can pay Graduation Fees. They will be here on March 7th in the commons during all lunches. This will be the last time they will come to the school after that you have to pay online or go to their offices. If you have questions see Ms. Bean in B27.

This week Thurs-Sat the drama department presents "Dirty Works at the Cross Roads" at 7:00 in the theatre. An old fashioned melodrama with heroes and villains. Boo cape wearing, top hatted villain and cheer our hero Adam Oakheart Old fashioned melodrama from the turn of the century. Come join us Thurs through Sat , boo the villain and cheer our hero. Our variety acts include The Zucchini Brothers, acrobats; a can can; vocalist:; and the wonderful Henderson Family of Garglers. Two complimentary tickets as always are available to you.
Attention Juniors: Parking for 2012-2013 If you would like to park on campus next year you must come to one of the parking classes listed below. Please bring a CHECK made out to BHS for $15. Students interested in learning about the Spring 2013 trip to London, Paris, and Rome should attend a parent informational meeting on Thursday March 1 in room E31 at 7PM
Attention anybody interested in cheerleading: Tryouts will be March 26th-29th The new tryout packet is available on Coach Bailey's & Coach Wills' web page. Make sure you get an updated physical for tryouts as well as fill out all parts of the tryout packet!!
