Financial incentives Queensland Investment Incentives Scheme • Discretionary case by case • To be eligible must: • Provide significant net economic benefit to the State • Demonstrate viability in absence of incentives • Demonstrate need to overcome short term impediment to projects development in Queensland • Demonstrate no significant detriment to existing business in Queensland • Support may be in the form of payroll tax rebates or establishment grants
