  3. Problem Statement • Determine the accelerations and the velocities at each joint • Determine the acceleration and velocity of the cable that would be attached to one end • Use Solidworks, Nastran 4D, and Working Model to create models and perform simulations and an FEA

  4. Design Objectives • Create a design that is similar to an actual pump jack (No dimensioned drawings available) • Create that design in Working Model and Nastran 4D (Imported from Solidworks) • Add constraints to make them move correctly (motors and such)
