  2. The name itself indicates what the waterproof plywood is good for. This variety of plywood has universal usage – these can be used with ease in the outdoors while they also work effectually in your kitchen and bathroom. Structurally, plywood has very low resistance towards any kind of moisture attack. So, in a way, one can safely say that intrinsically waterproof or water-resistant plywood does not exist. Over a period, when the standard plywood is exposed to moisture there will be swelling, discolouration, and cracks in the plywood. The crux of the matter is that the standard plywood will start to rot very soon if it is time and again exposed to moisture or water.
