65-1212 COMMUNION_ TUCSON.AZ V-8 N-4 SUNDAY_ • « 36 † Now, we find out today that this great thing that we're fixing to do tonight, in commemoration of His death and His Body that we believe that we eat daily, or, just got through eating as our brother preached to us. Taking the Word of God, we believe It with all of our heart. We see It manifested; we see It given to us; we see It vindicated; we feel It in our lives. And we must come to this with a deep conscience of what we're doing, not just because it's an order. • 37 You go into church, and many times they give out an old soda cracker or some kind of a--a something, break it up, and light bread or--or something, and--and break it up; and people who smoke, drink, everything else, because they're a member of the church they come and take the Lord's supper. Well, that's filthiness before God!
62-0204 COMMUNION_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN V-10 N-1 SUNDAY_ • « 100 † You know, you take an old Hereford cow and turn him out there on the pasture, and turn a Longhorn out there, that Longhorn can make his own way because he's original breed. But you take a Brangus or a Hereford that's a crossbreed and a hybrid, it's a better cow to look at, sure, fatter and healthier, but you turn them out there, they can't make their way. They'll die! They've got to be babied. See? • 101 And that's what's the matter today, we got better-dressed Christians, bigger churches, and a lot of--of education, lot of theology, but they have to be babied all the time, you have to look through their glass or you're not seeing at all. What we need is some thoroughbred Christians, born under the Blood of the Lord Jesus, that live not off of church theology, but off of the Word of God, the communion with Christ. The Word coming into the believer, his--his spiritual body is built up. Not a hothouse baby!
62-0204 COMMUNION_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN V-10 N-1 SUNDAY_ • « 105 † And that's what's the matter today with the people. That's what's the matter with the church. We got so much baby shots and man-made theology, until we're sprayed over. What we need is God's inoculation by the Word of the Lord God. Man shall live daily by that kind of a Food, to build his soul into inoculation from spiritual diseases that's flowing and jumping around the country. Got lots of notes on this, but I'm going to have to stop.« 106 † Now, build up, get ready for the inoculation. Now, we live by this, our--our bodies must have this. And, if we don't then we are subject to all kinds of diseases. And the Word of God, as we believe It and accept It by communion, "Lord, Thy Word is Truth." • 107 "My church says you don't have to be born again. They say, 'Shaking hands is born again.' They say, 'Sprinkling.' They say all these other things, 'That's it, Father, Son and Holy Ghost.'" But the Bible said to be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ. See? Now, you go ahead with those artificial shots if you want to, you'll make yourself an artificial Christian. See? You don't want that.« 108 † You can't have Life, only through Christ. And now what does His Word do? It builds up our spiritual body, strong, as we commune with Him, to resist the Devil. • 109 You say, "Brother Branham, what's that you say, 'communing in His Word'?" • 110 Yes, He is the Word. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us." And we are to eat His body. Then His body is His Word, because He is the Word. And He said, in Saint John 15, "If ye abide in Me, and My communion, My Word, abides in you, then you can ask what you will and it'll be done for you." There you are. That's true. See, ask what you will!
65-0123 BROKEN.CISTERNS_ PHOENIX.AZ V-19 N-4 SATURDAY_ • « 78 † What it is, it's got to be a fellowship, and not a fellowship of some creed. But fellowship in Christ, by the power of His resurrection, that's the thing that brings Life. It brings birth. • 79 And before birth can come, we realize there has to be death before birth. And a birth is a mess, I don't care what kind of a birth it is. If it's in a pig pen, or--or wherever it is, it's a mess. And so is the new Birth, it makes you do things that ordinarily you wouldn't think you would do. But when you're ready to die to yourself, then you are borned again, a new creature in Christ Jesus, then things, open up and life becomes a new sight to you, because you've accepted the Person of Jesus Christ, and not some theory or some creed. • 80 Or, even to the written Word, It's got to be quickened by the Holy Spirit. No matter how much theology you've got, it's laying there dead. I could have a handful of wheat; until it gets into the process to where it can be quickened, the wheat will never live. And you can have a doctor's degree, Ph., LL., whatever you wish to; but until the Holy Spirit comes upon that and quickens it to you, as a personal experience with God, then the wheat does no good. You're learning is in vain. • « 81 † As this Englishman said the other night here, I was so astonished at that. All the learning he had, as Paul, he had to forget all he knowed, in order to find Christ, do things that he thought he wouldn't do. • 82 But that's the way God does, He humiliates us in our educational system. Not as I'm trying to support ignorance, but I'm trying to tell you the difference. Education can never bring Life. It takes the Spirit of God to bring Life, and that Life must not come out of just the intellectual revival. It's got to come out of the Bible, Word revival, and that Word is the same yesterday, today, and forever. And when It falls today, and quickens, you get the same results you did in Acts 2. Exactly. It always has, and it always will be, because it's the Spirit of God that conditions the atmosphere.
60-0709 GOD'S.PROVIDED.WAY.OF.APPROACH.TO.FELLOWSHIP_ KLAMATH.FALLS.OR SATURDAY_ « E-41 † You remember the story last night, the woman at the well? Jesus said to her (If you read it today in Saint John 4.), "The Father is seeking such that will worship Him in Spirit and in Truth." And His Word is the Truth: Spirit and Truth. Many people have Spirit with no Truth; other's has Truth with no Spirit. It's like a man that's got money in the bank, and don't know how to write a check. The other one knows how to write a check, and got no money in the bank. If you could ever get those two together, Spirit and Truth... The Word with the Spirit in it... « E-42 † I've found so much of that in my time. Some people were really spirited, but had not the Truth. To you that was at the breakfast this morning, the subject I spoke on, I'm sure you understand what I mean. All right, got truth, set in order, church with the Word, then let the Spirit come down in with the Word, and then watch what takes place... It'll manifest every time. Now, the unbeliever coming in, first thing he did, he had to do it just like a--a... the... He come to this waters of separation first, to be separated. Now, what does he come? "Faith cometh by hearing." He was in the outer court. Now, it must be kept in a clean place.
57-0908M HEBREWS.CHAPTER.FIVE.AND.SIX.1_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN HEB SUNDAY_ « 18 † And it was the same in the Old Testament. But, Paul, being well trained, and knew the Scriptures by the word. But, you see, the Scriptures, no matter how well you know them, if the Spirit doesn't quicken them, then the letter killeth. The Spirit giveth Life. See, it must be quickened, or made alive, by the Spirit. If the Spirit doesn't liven the Word and make It a reality to you, then the letter is just intellectual. That's where we have so many confessed Christians today, or professed Christians, is that intellectual conception of Christ. 19 Then we got off on, "Well, he had to feel something; and you had to do something." And, oh, we'll get into all that, after while. One had to shout. The Methodists used to have to shout, 'fore they had it. The Pentecostals had to speak with tongues, before they had it. And, oh, some of them, the Shakers, used to have to shake. Yeah. The old... They'd walk up-and-down, man on one side, women on the other. See? Shakers. Then the Holy Spirit come on them and shook them. "They had It." But it's all just fantastics. There's none of it the Truth.
63-0707E COMMUNION_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN SUNDAY_ • « E-1 † Thank you, Brother Orman. We are happy tonight to be here to hear this wonderful message from--from the lips of our brother, that we believe to be anointed of the Holy Spirit to bring us these great tidings of, as is said, of exhortation: how we should live in this present day in holiness before God and before one another. We--we--we want just holiness among us that no filthy communications be heard among us at all as we profess this great calling of God. We must walk worthy of this thing that God has brought us to. And we're way down towards the end of the journey now, where we're expecting the exceeding abundantly above all that we could do or think. • And remember, we want to constantly be in prayer. And above all things, watch your life: if your life don't tally up with God's holiness, then go back and start praying again; there's something wrong. See? We must live in that kind of a state that the fruits of the Spirit will make Itself known through us. That's what we want to live. • You know, sometime we hear great preachers who can preach mighty, but we'd rather see a sermon lived than we would heard one preached (See?) 'cause that's the evidence that God is on the inside.
60-0515M THE.REJECTED.KING_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN V-2 N-23 SUNDAY_ • « 46 † There's something about men and women that they long to be like one another. And there's only been one Man ever lived on earth that was our Example, and that was the One that died for us all, our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. He was the perfect example of what we should be: always about the Father's business and doing that which is right.
Genesis 9:1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. Genesis 10:8 And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
Genesis 10:10-11 » 10 † And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar. » 11 † Out of that land went forth Asshur, and builded Nineveh, and the city Rehoboth, and Calah, Asshur is the passive participle of a verb, which, in its Chaldee sense, signifies "to make strong," and, consequently, signifies "being strengthened," or "made strong." "Out of that land he went forth, being made strong, or when he had been made strong (Ashur), and builded Nineveh," Hislop, Alexander (2010-04-21). The Two Babylons
Genesis 11:1-9 And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
"In the early ages of mankind," says Wilkinson in his "Ancient Egyptians," "the existence of a sole and omnipotent Deity, who created all things, seems to have been the universal belief; and tradition taught men the same notions on this subject, which, in later times, have been adopted by all civilised nations." "The Gothic religion," says Mallet, "taught the being of a supreme God, Master of the Universe, to whom all things were submissive and obedient."--(Tacit. de Morib. Germ.) The ancient Icelandic mythology calls him "the Author of every thing that existeth, the eternal, the living, and awful Being; the searcher into concealed things, the Being that never changeth." It attributeth to this deity "an infinite power, a boundless knowledge, and incorruptible justice." Hislop, Alexander (2010-04-21). The Two Babylons
Quotes from An Exposition of the Seven Church Ages… • Pompeiussaid, "Ninus, king of Assyria, changed the ancient moderate ways of life by the desire for conquest. HE WAS THE FIRST WHO CARRIED WAR AGAINST HIS NEIGHBORS. He conquered all nations from Assyria to Lybia as these men knew not the arts of war." Diodorus says, "Ninus was the most ancient of Assyrian kings mentioned in history. Being of warlike disposition he trained many young men rigorously in the arts of war. He brought Babylonia under him while yet there was no city of Babylon." • Babylonian religion the first to drift away from the faith"Historians such as Wilkinson and Mallett have proven conclusively from the ancient documents that at one time all the peoples of the earth believed in ONE GOD, supreme, eternal, invisible, Who by the Word of His mouth spoke all things into existence, and that in His character He was loving and good and just." • "Satan... has always attempted to receive worship as though he were God and not the servant and creation of God, he drew worship away from God to the end that he might draw it unto himself and so be exalted."
Bel the Confounder • « 187-1 † PERGAMEAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.5 • Hyginus says this about that god who was known variously as Bel, Hermes, Mercuryetc, "For many ages men lived under the government of Jove (not the Roman Jove, but Jehovah of the Hebrews who predates Roman history) without cities and without laws, and all speaking one language. But after that Mercury (Bel, Cush) interpreted the speeches of men (whence an interpreter is called Hermeneutes) the same individual distributed the nations. Then discord began." It is seen from this that Bel or Cush, the father of Nimrod, originally was the ring leader that led the people away from the true God and encouraged the people as the "interpreter of the gods" to take another form of religion. He encouraged them to go ahead with the tower which his son actually built. This encouragement is what brought the confusion and the division of men, so that he was both, "interpreter and confuser".
Bel the Confounder • That Cush was known to Pagan antiquity under the very character of Bel, "The Confounder," a statement of Ovid very clearly proves. The statement to which I refer is that in which Janus "the god of gods," from whom all the other gods had their origin, is made to say of himself: "The ancients....called me Chaos." Now, first this decisively shows that Chaos was known not merely as a state of confusion, but as the "god of Confusion." But, secondly, who that is at all acquainted with the laws of Chaldaic pronunciation, does not know that Chaos is just one of the established forms of the name of Chus or Cush? Then, look at the symbol of Janus, whom "the ancients called Chaos,“ and it will be seen how exactly it tallies with the doings of Cush, when he is identified with Bel, "The Confounder." That symbol is a club; and the name of "a club" in Chaldee comes from the very word which signifies "to break in pieces, or scatter abroad.“ • …He who caused the confusion of tongues was he who "broke" the previously united earth (Gen 11:1) "in pieces," and "scattered" the fragments abroad. • Hislop, Alexander (2010-04-21). The Two Babylons
As the Chaldean priests were believed alone to possess the key to the understanding of the Mythology of Babylon, a key handed down to them from primeval antiquity, so the priests of Rome set up to be the sole interpreters of Scripture; they only had the true tradition, transmitted from age to age, without which it was impossible to arrive at its true meaning. They, therefore, require implicit faith in their dogmas; all men were bound to believe as the Church believed, while the Church in this way could shape its faith as it pleased. As possessing supreme authority, also, over the faith, they could let out little or much, as they judged most expedient; and "RESERVE" in teaching the great truths of religion was as essential a principle in the system of Babylon, as it is in Romanism or Tractarianism at this day. It was this priestly claim to dominion over the faith of men, that "imprisoned the truth in unrighteousness" in the ancient world, so that "darkness covered the earth, and gross darkness the people." It was the very same claim, in the hands of the Roman priests, that ushered in the dark ages, when, through many a dreary century, the Gospel was unknown, and the Bible a sealed book to millions who bore the name of Christ. In every respect, then, we see how justly Rome bears on its forehead in the name, "Mystery, Babylon the Great." Hislop, Alexander (2010-04-21). The Two Babylons (Kindle Locations 298-305). . « 197-2 † PERGAMEAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.5You will recall that I brought out in the Ephesian Age that the word, Nicolaitane, comes from two Greek words: Nikao which means to conquer, and Lao which means the laity. Nicolaitane means, "to conquer the laity". Now why is this such a terrible thing? It is terrible because God has never placed His church in the hands of an elected leadership which moves with political mindedness. He has placed His church in the care of God-ordained, Spirit-filled, Word-living men who lead the people through feeding them the Word.He has not separated the people into classes so that the masses are led by a holy priesthood. It is true that the leadership must be holy, but then so must be the whole congregation. Further, there is no place in the Word where priests or ministers or such mediate between God and the people, nor is there a place where they are separated in their worship of the Lord. God wants all to love and serve Him together.Nicolaitanism destroys those precepts and instead separates the ministers from the peopleand makes the leaders overlords instead of servants.
65-1212 COMMUNION_ TUCSON.AZ V-8 N-4 SUNDAY_ « 63 † As I believe it was Jesus said to Pilate, something, a word I was thinking, and He said there just a few moments ago, "Who told you that?" Or, "Was it revealed to you? How did you know these things?" in other words. I don't know just what the word is now, it's been a long time since I read it, but, "How did you--how did you know this? What? How? Who revealed this to you?" About Him being the Son of God. "Who revealed it to you? Did some man tell you that? Or," as Jesus said, "is it My Father in Heaven which has revealed it to you?" See? See? "How did you learn it, a secondhand or is it a perfect revelation from God?" 64 Is this communion just something I go up for it, an order, say "Well, the rest of them take this, I will too"? It's a revelation that I am part of Him and I'm part of you, and I love you and I love Him, and we're taking this together as a symbol of our love to God, and our love and fellowship to one another.
Matthew 20:20-28» 20 † ¶ Then came to him the mother of Zebedee's children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him. » 21 † And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom. » 22 † But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able. » 23 † And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.» 24 † And when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation against the two brethren. » 25 † But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.» 26 † But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; » 27 † And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: » 28 † Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
« 199-1 † PERGAMEAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.5Now it is a well known historical fact that when this error crept into the church, men began to vie for the office of bishop with the result that this position was being given to the more educated and materially-progressive and politically-minded men. Human knowledge and program began to take over Divine wisdom's place and the Holy Spirit no longer controlled. This was indeed a tragic evil, for the bishops began to maintain that it no longer required a transparent Christian characterto minister either the Word or the rites in the church for it was the elements and the ceremony that counted. This allowed evil men (seducers) to rend the flock.
« 199-4 † PERGAMEAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.5 • Now this Nicolaitane doctrine, this rule that was established in the church did not hit it off too well with a lot of the people for they could read the odd epistle or essay on the Word written by some godly person. So what did the church do? It excommunicated the righteous teachers and burned the scrolls. They said, "It takes a special education to read and understand the Word. Why even Peter said that many things Paul wrote were hard to understand." Having taken away the Word from the people, it soon came to the people listening only to what the priest had to say, and doing what he told them. They called that God and His holy Word. They took over the minds and lives of the people and made them the servants of a despotic priesthood.

And I thought, "What's the matter?" 205 I went to some of them, "The first day you're there, they'll approach you, 'Join our church.' If you don't do it, you're not welcome." See? See? It's a forced thing, it's forced upon you, see, and that's Babylon. But in Christ, you come in by election; not by force, your heart pulls you in. 206 God did not put His name then in Babylon. Closely now. He cannot put His Name in Babylon, the churches. Oh, they, they put His Name in there, but He never. No.

They worshipped, you know (many of you scholars that reading Hislop's Two Babylons, and so forth, and the history of the church), and how they--they did. And they had women that done this, and women... a goddess, and everything, and it was a forced religion. Everybody, every city around Babylon was compelled to come to Babylon to worship under Nimrod at the tower. See? That's right. They were forced to do it, debate it. There's where the confusion come. 203 And that's exactly what the church is today, "If you don't attend Sunday school, if you don't do this, and have to hire you to do this and do this and do that, you're out of the picture."

Who Was Merodach? * "Nimr-rod"; from Nimr, a "leopard," and rada or rad "to subdue." According to invariable custom in Hebrew, when two consonants come together as the two rsinNimr-rod, one of them is sunk. Thus Nin-neveh, "The habitation of Ninus," becomes Nineveh. The name Nimrod is commonly derived from Mered, "to rebel"; but a difficulty has always been found in regard to this derivation, as that would make the name Nimrod properly passive not "the rebel," but "he who was rebelled against." There is no doubt that Nimrod was a rebel, and that his rebellion was celebrated in ancient myths; but his name in that character was not Nimrod, but Merodach, or, as among the Romans, Mars, "the rebel"; or among the Oscans of Italy, Mamers (SMITH), "The causer of rebellion." That the Roman Mars was really, in his original, the Babylonian god, is evident from the name given to the goddess, who was recognised sometimes as his "sister," and sometimes as his "wife"--i.e., Bellona, which, in Chaldee, signifies, "The Lamenter of Bel" (from Bel and onah, to lament). The Egyptian Isis, the sister and wife of Osiris, is in like manner represented, as we have seen, as "lamentingher brother Osiris." (BUNSEN)
Nimrod/Marduk • There is one common element to Nimrod/Marduk in all his manifestations and that is the symbol of the snake/serpent/dragon. Nimrod took the dragon as his personal emblem, so that from him spring various dragon myths and their special association with apocalyptic events. Strikingly the only favorable accounts of dragons are found among the Hamitic peoples of the world (like Nimrod) including the Ethiopians, Hittites, Chinese, Japanese and American Indian. • The thread of serpent lore is evident in all of Marduk's guises regardless of nation, pantheon, or role. Poseidon was accompanied by creatures who were half man and half snake as well as by the sea serpent Leviathan (mentioned in Job). Aesculapeus/Chiron/Hermes were all associated with the cadduceus of entwined serpents. The story of Apollo and the python is well known as that of Hercules/Melkarth and the Hydra. The god Triton was half snake.
The Serpent GENESIS 3:4 » 4 † And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: » 5 † For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. » 6 † And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
The Serpent Proverbs 30:20Such is the way of an adulterous woman; she eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith, I have done no wickedness. II Corinthians 11:2-3» 2 † For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. » 3 † But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
54-0620A I.WILL.RESTORE_ DES.MOINES.IA SUNDAY_ « E-19 † Now, there's the first two that I want to deal on this afternoon. Is those two boys and their spirits. Now, if you see anything... Just for instance, like Babylon. Babylon appears in Genesis. (Just give you that one thing that you might understand.) Babylon appears in Genesis. What was Babylon first? Babylon was the first setup of idolatry. And there was a man-worship and a man worshipped. His name was Nimrod. He was the descent of Ham. After that, they come along Sin and then Sin's wife. And she started up the pollution of--of immorality and so forth. Then they worshipped roots and vines and so forth, as images in the temple, but--in Babylon. Babylon appears in Genesis as a corrupt place. It appears over in the days of king Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel's time, as a corrupt place. Then it appears over in Revelations, going in to perdition. Is that right? Starts in Genesis, comes through the Book, ends up in Revelations.
Strong Foundation Luke 6:47-49 » 47 † Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: » 48 † He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. » 49 † But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.
Daniel 2:44-45 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.
61-0806 THE.SEVENTIETH.WEEK.OF.DANIEL_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN DA 89-141 SUNDAY_ « 121 † Now, what's happened, the head of gold was Nebuchadnezzar, which he interpreted. Said, "Another king shall come and be inferior to thee," which was Darius, the Medo Persian, taken the Gentile kingdom over. Next come in after the Medo Persians was what? The Greeks, Alexander the Great and so forth; the Grecians took the kingdom over. Then what took it over from the Greeks? The Romans. And who's ruled the Gentile world ever since? Romans--Romans. Now, that was iron. Then notice, Rome exists to the end, because it went to the end of toes. And he seen mud, clay, and (that's people, what we're made out of)--and iron, the strength of Rome, run in every one of those nations. And Rome has strength in every nation under heaven.
62-0422 THE.RESTORATION.OF.THE.BRIDE.TREE_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN V-3 N-15 SUNDAY_ « 327 † Don't you never fear communism. Communism is a godless move. But you hear some of these preachers, stand in the pulpit, condemning, "Communism! Communism!" I don't believe in it either. But don't... And tell their church, "Oh, we're all going to be swallowed up. Whole world is going to become communist." That's exactly contrary to God's Word. There's no place in the Bible says that that'll be that way. 328 But the Bible says that Romanism, the Catholic church, will swallow the world. Take Daniel and find out. The head of gold, King Nebuchadnezzar, Baylonian kingdom; Medes and Persia succeeded him; the Grecian Empire succeeded that; and Rome went to the end. Them ten toes run in every kingdom under the earth. Don't you...
54-0513 THE.MARK.OF.THE.BEAST_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN V-26 N-3 THURSDAY_ « 142 † Like everywhere in the Scripture, from the beginning of the Gentile plumb back from Genesis, I can prove that Babylon begin in Genesis and ends up in Revelation. Started out back there with Nimrod, the son of Ham, through idolatry to bring idols in to worship idols. And it's come right down through, and is so cunning in the last days till it takes on the name of Christianity, and still idolatry. Didn't the great Saint Paul in II Thessalonians say... Let's just read it before we go any farther: II Thessalonians, 2nd chapter, and see what Paul said here. He even saw it in the Spirit before it even coming into the day that we're living in. Well, my, how the day that we're living in, the darkness that we're living in, and men and women groping about here in pagan darkness and don't even know it. What a--what a pity. How the day that... Paul said, "That day should not come, unless there come a falling away first, and the man of sin be revealed." Now, watch, he declares him to be a man. Is that right? Paul said, "He was the man of sin, who opposes himself all above all that's called God, so he that is worshipped as God." A man, worshipped as God; a man that would be put here as a form of worship. And he said, "That day could not come except first there come a falling away." What is it? A lukewarm condition of the church. All right. Listen. Let me read it for you if you will, II Thessalonians. All right. I can get the right place now to begin, so we won't have to read so much. "Let no man deceive you," 3rd verse, II Thessalonians, 2nd chapter. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first... (the Laodicean Church Age now)... and that man... (m-a-n, singular)... man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; (in the stead--instead of the Son of God), son of perdition. Who oppose himself and exalts himself above all that's called God, so that he is worshipped as God; that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. (Accepting confessions.)
61-0806 THE.SEVENTIETH.WEEK.OF.DANIEL_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN DA 89-141 SUNDAY_ « 125 † Now, notice in here at the end of this age... Now, Daniel, in the 2nd chapter and the 34th and 35th verse, he watched this image with great consideration. And he watched it until a Stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and It rolled down and smote the image in the feet and broke that... Not... It never hit it on the head now; hit it in the feet. That was the end time, them ten toes. Did you notice exactly here just before Mr. Eisenhower went out, the last Protestant--of the--of--of America in the--in the president, which I doubt there'll ever be another one, but--but when... Just to show that... Just if people would wake up. When he met, there were... The last meeting that they--he met with Russia, there were five eastern communistic countries represented, five western countries. Mr. Khrushchev was the head of the eastern countries; Mr. Eisenhower was the head of the western countries. And Khrushchev, as I understand and been told, that in Russia, the language, "Khrushchev" means "clay," and "Eisenhower" means "iron," in English. There's your iron and clay will not mix. And he pulled off his shoe and beat the stand with it and everything else. It won't mix. But it's in the days of these empires that the rock Stone, that was hewed out of the mountain without hands, smote the image in the feet. Now. Cut out of the mountain... Must've been a mountain of stone. It was cut out of the mountain of stone. Now, did you notice... « 128 † Now, minister brethren, and brothers and sisters over the world, to my understanding the first Bible that was written, God wrote it in the sky, 'cause they must look up and see that there is a--a God in heaven, that God's above them. And if you notice in the zodiac... Now, don't any of you people go... You stay right with this Bible here. See? But the--the zodiac, it starts off the first in the zodiac, as I understand, is the virgin; the last in the zodiac number is Leo the Lion. That's the first coming of Christ through the virgin; the second coming is the Lion of the tribe of Juda. See? Then we got the cancer age, and also down through the zodiac. Now, we find out that there was another one written, or another one placed; and that was the pyramid. Did you notice in the pyramids how it started off wide at the bottom like a mountain, made out of solid rock, went right up till it got to the top, but there never was a cap put on the pyramid, the big pyramid there in Egypt. Take out your... If you've got a dollar bill in your pocket, take out a dollar bill and look on it, and you'll find here the American seal on one side; and on the other side it's got at the bottom the pyramid, and above the pyramid the capstone, but it's a great big eye, and it's called at the bottom of this pyramid, "The Great seal." Why ain't the American eagle the great seal? That's the seal of God.
61-0806 THE.SEVENTIETH.WEEK.OF.DANIEL_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN DA 89-141 SUNDAY_ « 140 † I remember about being up here watching that mill that time where they was shaping out all them things and all that scrap laying there and they swept it out. That big stone come by and picked it up--that big magnet stone and picked it all up because it was magnetized to it. We've got to be magnetized to that Headstone. That Headstone is the Holy Ghost: Christ. And every one of us that's got that magnetism of the Holy Spirit, when that Stone strikes the image, the church will flee to It. Back into glory She'll be taken up at the raptured of the saints, when She goes forth through that day.
61-0806 THE.SEVENTIETH.WEEK.OF.DANIEL_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN DA 89-141 SUNDAY_ « 162 † Now, when's God going to start their last week? When? It may be today. It may be before the sun sets tonight. God will declare it. When it is, I don't know. I'm wondering. But I'm going to bring something here that--now in a--in a few minutes; and I don't know whether you're going to believe it or not. But I've--I've got to say it anyhow, I believe. We're at the homeland. The Jews are in a homeland. We're at the end of the age, ready for the rapture. The rapture comes; the church goes up; we're caught up to meet Him in the air. We all know that. The Stone that was cut out of the mountain is ready to come at any time. And when It comes, what does It do? It does away with the Gentile age. It's all over, and God completely quits dealing with them. "Let him that's filthy be filthy still; let him that's holy be holy still." See? What does He do then? He takes His church, the Holy Ghost filled. What's the filthy? That's the sleeping virgin and them that comes up for judgment way over in here (we'll get that on another map when we continue this one over) where she comes up to the white throne of judgment and has to be judged by the redeemed. Paul told us not to take a matter to court, because the saints would judge the earth. That's right. We're at the end time, sure. Now, all right.
61-0806 THE.SEVENTIETH.WEEK.OF.DANIEL_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN DA 89-141 SUNDAY_ « 137 † Now, because that they're in shape... See where I've got this shaped here like the pyramid? The arising of the saints makes the march into glory. You understand it now? Christ the Headstone, the rejected Stone, the all-seeing Eye, coming exactly like the Bible said... And Daniel said he watched this Gentile age until the Stone come out of the mountain that wasn't cut with hands. They had never put a capstone on that pyramid. It wasn't cut by man's hands. It's God's hands that cut the Stone. You see it? And what did It do? It hit the image right smack in the feet, and broke it to pieces, ground it into powder. Hallelujah. What happened at that time, the coming of that Stone? Up went the church into glory at the rapture, 'cause it ended the Gentile dispensation. God ended it up, the coming of that Stone.
61-0211 ABRAHAM_ LONG.BEACH.CA SATURDAY_ « E-30 † Well then, if God can use a cow and a horse and a sheep and a bird by instinct to flee the wrath that's coming, you'd better get away from these big old walls of Babylon and flee to Jesus Christ, 'cause she's going to crumble and fall one of these days. Remember, there was a Stone cut out of the mountain without hands, come rolling into Babylon and tearing it down wherever it went. And the kingdom of this world will fall just as certain. Every man-made kingdom's got to sink, so the Kingdom of God can take the right of way. Every man-made organization will fall and crumble to the dust, that the power of the Holy Ghost might take the church and rapture it into that place up above. That's right. Yes, sir. They... Everything has served its purpose, but we're at the time, brother, when God is calling His people out. The Stone that was cut out of the mountain without hands is rolling in, crashing down Babylon, moving right on over. Get away from the big walls, friend. Come into Jesus Christ. That's the only Place of safety or refuge I know.
64-0705 THE.MASTERPIECE_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN V-4 N-7 SUNDAY_ « 87 † Now we find this perfect Masterpiece that God had completed. Now, we notice that He was all that it was promised to be. He's all the promises, all of the prophecies, everything that God had made a promise of. "Thy Seed shall bruise the serpent's head." Now, He could not bruise it with the law, He could not bruise it with the prophets, but He did do it when the woman's Seed became the Masterpiece, Christ. He was the Stone that Daniel saw hewed out of the mountain. He was the One could smite. He is the One that could bruise, bruise the serpent's head. 88 His life matched, exactly, the life of Moses. His life matched David. Let's see if it was, if He's the Matching-piece.
63-0623M STANDING.IN.THE.GAP_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN V-6 N-7 SUNDAY_ « 77 † And now after the Bible had been interpreted, completely, then you notice it opened up the top of the pyramid-like Rock. Not pyramid teaching now, not that, because I... The man who teach that pyramid doctrine, I guess they know what they're talking about. I know nothing about it. But, however, it was in the shape of a pyramid, but the cap on the pyramid was never put on. I've been in Cairo and--and in Egypt, and--and the cap never did come, because it was a cornerstone, it was a headstone. In the church It was the cornerstone. In the full Church, It was the headstone. So It never did come. It was rejected, Christ. And It will come. And I believe that when It's coming, that the Church will shape into a place, from justification under Luther, sanctification under Wesley, and the Pentecostal message will bring the Church to such a minority, and a ministry will be among those people till it'll be exactly the same ministry that Jesus Christ did. That'll bring Jesus and catch the whole thing away.
60-0925 THAT.DAY.ON.CALVARY_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN V-2 N-5 SUNDAY_ « 73 † When Abel's lamb died, it died speaking in a language that Abel could not understand. It was bleating. And when God's Lamb died, that day at Calvary, He spoke in a language that no one understood Him, "My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken Me." It was God's Lamb, hacked to pieces, chopped up. He was the very Lamb that Abel had in mind when he seen the promised seed of the woman. He was the Lamb that Daniel saw that was hewed out of the mountain without hands. He was the wheel in the middle of the wheel for the prophet. All they had foresaw was met on that day, that day at Calvary. That brought the great thing in. That broke the back of Satan.
61-0806 THE.SEVENTIETH.WEEK.OF.DANIEL_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN DA 89-141 SUNDAY_ « 135 † Now, then after that age lived by, the Wesleyan age, come in the Pentecostal age with the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. See, you're shaping up all the time. Now, remember, that Headstone wasn't on it yet, Why? They shaped the church just exactly--or the pyramid in shape to fit the headstone, but the headstone never did come. Oh, you see where I'm at don't you. Now, the ministry from Luther until the ending of Pentecost in that little bitty minority up here... That's the reason the light almost goes out in this age there on the calendar--on the chart. It's the Pentecostal age, the Pentecostal, not--not the Pentecostal denominations, 'cause they done just exactly like the Laodicean (They are Laodicean)--they did like the Nicolaitanes: organized. But the true church all over the world has shaped down to a place that there's come a ministry among them just exactly like the ministry of Jesus Christ. Now, what they got? They got the thing in condition. Now, what's the next thing? This rejected Stone to the pyramid, cut out of the mountain without what? Without hands. God sent It. Do you see it? The rejected One, the rejected Stone is the head of the--is the head, the Capstone. And the very One that they've rejected through this Gentile age is Christ. And Christ was not cut and put in here as a vicar, or son of God, or some great dignitary in the church. He's the Holy Spirit. And the cap of the pyramid will be Christ coming. Do you see it?
