11. Expert Organisation Concept: A Joule Centre Hub supporting three Centres of Expertise and Enterprise (CEE)
Develop business clusters around the centres that drive and direct future research or can benefit from historical university research and its exploitation

Increase technical capability & capacity in selected theme areas
Reduce barriers for businesses
e.g.. time to market and gain early market share
Increase the competitiveness of the region
