  4. Main Aims: Share a set of technical solutions to flooding through technical exchanges and an international tool kit. (Activity 1 & 2) Promote flood awareness through an education campaign aimed at school children and through geocaching activities (Activity 3)

  5. Activity 3 FLOODCOM Education Programme Led by Essex County Council Education advisor works with partners to integrate flood awareness into school curriculum.

  6. Geocaching Innovative way to engage communities and educate about flood awareness. A fun activity where a cache is hidden and found by participants. Clues help the discovery of the cache and educate at the same time.

  7. Design of FLOODCOM token by schoolchildren Share design on project education website Stimulus for education activity Learn about flood awareness through design of geocaching activity example geocaching token .

  8. Activity just beginning –no successes yet! What issues can be foreseen with the project? Different cultures, different approaches? Please let me have Your comments and feedback
