Methodology • 4,170 young people aged 11-16 with internet access in the household interviewed across 10 countries worldwide • Interviews took place between 1st and 23rd October 2007 • Quotas set for age, gender and region • Interviews conducted online in 8 countries; USA, UK, Germany, Czech Republic, Spain, Brazil, China and India • Interviewing was conducted face-to-face in Saudi Arabia (Riyadh, Jeddah, Damam) and Nigeria (Lagos, Abuja) among those with internet access in the household • Data were weighted to give each country equal weight. Countries within the UK were weighted to the population profile • Where results do not sum to 100, this may be due to multiple responses, computer rounding or the exclusion of don’t knows/not stated • An asterisk (*) indicates a percentage of less than 0.5% but greater than zero
