  2. Electronic Resources is one of the emerging environment in libraries & Information communication in the competitive service. E-Resources usually consist of e-books, e-Journals, articles, newspaper, thesis, dissertation, databases and CD-ROMs, which are likely to be the alternative to the print media. Emerald, Ebsco, Elsevier are some of the examples of online databases. All updated information is published in these e-resources. The familiarity and use of electronic information resources in the libraries for rapid development is necessary and important. What is E- Resources

  3. 1. To assess the amount of familiarity and frequency in the use of the different types of electronic resources 2. To find the purpose and utilization of the electronic resources and services by the users 3. To know the level of satisfaction on current e-resources 4. To know the difficulties encountered by the users while using e-resources 5. To survey the purpose & utilization of electronic resources by the faculty of MMCDSR. To find out the problems in respect of access the e-resources and their use. Objectives

Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Mullana - Ambala, erstwhile known as Maharishi Markandeshwar Education Trust was founded with the objective of social, educational and economic upliftment of society in the year 1993, in the name of Lord Shiva’s devotee, “Maharishi Markandeshwar Ji”. MM University Trust, Mullana - Ambala has become a symbol of quality education in technical, professional and medical streams in northern India and has been carrying on its lineage for over 20 years.

  7. M.M. University is having more than 14 Libraries in its fold. The Libraries of the Campus are Air Conditioned and Computerized. University collection comprising Books, Cd’s, Videos, Thesis, Standards and Back Volumes in all Campus Libraries came to 155388 with 30520 nos. of titles. The University Subscribes to 5078 Journals. More than 1500 seats are available for its users to be accommodated at a time. We have membership of National Networks, such as, NPTEL, INFLIBNET and DELNET etc. Collection of MMU Library System

  10. The MMU library system has more than 14 academic libraries with in University, having more than 15 lakh collection of reading materials. The library system is constantly doing efforts of maximum use of its resources. For this, library system doing many activities like seminars, user training program, conferences etc. to ensure maximum use of its resources. Conclusion
