Other Assessments • MCLASS (BOY, MOY, EOY and progress monitoring) • DIBELS • DAZE • Timed, students read a passage, 1-3 times in a sentence there will be a box with 3 word choices, students choose the word that makes sense in the sentence • LNF (letter naming fluency) • Timed, students read a list of random upper/lower case letters • PSF (phoneme segmentation fluency) • Timed, teacher says a word, students break the word into it’s individual sounds • NWF (nonsense word fluency) • 2 scores are recorded: sounds and whole words • ORF (oral reading fluency) • Students read a passage for one minute and retell what they read. • 3 scores are recorded: Fluency, Accuracy and Retell
