Promotion requirements To Pass 10th grade to 11th (FALL) At least 11 credits required

a word about TAKING CLASSES ON FLVS • The WEBSITE is : • www.flvs.net Take courses online for: • Meeting graduation requirement • Grade forgiveness for failed class • Enrichment/fun DIRECTIONS: • Select the course • Fill out a “Course Request Form” • Submit the form to your guidance counselor for approval. • Wait for notification from the FLVS teacher and • Begin the class online….

A 3.0 GPA weighted GPA in the 16 core credits • 30 hours of community service • Qualifying scores on PERT SAT or ACT • 3 career and technical education credits in one vocational program with a 3.5 GPA in those courses. FLORIDA GOLD SEAL
VOLUNTEER HOURS • 100 hours for FAS • 75 hours for Medallion • 30 for Gold Seal VPS forms are available in our school website under Guidance page. Get approval from your counselor And START WORKING ON YOUR HOURS NOW! HOURS EARNED IN GRADES 9TH -12TH QUALIFY *Registration for Bright Futures starts December 1st of senior year. VOLUNTEER HOURS (vps)
Four (4) unexcused absences will result in a 59 (F) failing grades for the semester. (9 weeks) • The student would earn a 59 in the class, but would still be able to take exams at full credit. Tardies: 3 tardies = 1 unexcused absence Attendance policy
All missed work is due within 5 days after returning to school (see print-out for exceptions) • BRING NOTES TO ATTENDANCE OFFICE UPON YOUR RETURN TO SCHOOL Make-up work
