  1. WednesdayMay20th, 2009 (5/20/2009) AGENDA Quote

  2. WednesdayMay20th, 2009 (5/20/2009) WARM UP Time Given: 5 minutes When last we read, Brutus and Antony delivered their speeches to the crowd. At first, the people agreed with Brutus. Then, the people agreed with Antony and began to riot in the streets, vowing revenge on the murderers of Caesar. How exactly did Antony convince the crowd that Caesar had a great wrong done to him? Did he say anything specific or use anything/anyone that helped in his speech? Use your book for help! (pg. 139-153)

  3. What We Learned On Monday! NO NOTES After rioting, the people stood and listened to the reasons why Brutus and the Conspirators murdered Caesar. Brutus spoke first—the people loved Brutus so much, they wanted to crown him the new “Caesar” and make statues in Brutus’ honor. Antony spoke last (“Lend me your ears!”)—the people then vowed to murder those who murdered Caesar. Cinna the Poet  In the wrong place with the wrong name 
