Victoria: • born on 2nd November 1991 in Abidjan • October 2008: movedto France, laterto London • from 14July 1999 toFebruary 2000: victimofphysicaland sexual abuseby her great-auntand her boyfriend • severallocalauthoritiesinvolved • 25February 2000: Victoria‘sdeath • Death causedby multiple injuriesarisingfrommonthsofill-treatmentandabuse • 128 separate injuriesfound on her body

Baby P: • born on 1March 2006 in London • from 18 September 2006 to August 2007: Baby P sufferedmorethan 50 injuries • Baby P registered forphysicalabuseandneglect • he was seennearly 60 timesbylocalauthorities • 3 August 2007: Baby P‘sdeath • He had a broken back, brokenribs, severalbruises, a thoothmissingandmarks on hishead
