Automatically Designated Traditional • Attachment 1/within an urbanized area August 8, 2003 • Submit NOI, SWMP (hard copy and electronic), and fee to RWQCB
State Designated Traditional • Attachment 2 October 27, 2003 • Submit NOI, SWMP (hard copy and electronic), and fee to RWQCB
State Designated Non-Traditional • Attachment 3 180 Days After Designation • Designation by RWQCB - Delegated to EO • Submit NOI, SWMP (hard copy and electronic), and fee to RWQCB
Public Review • Public can access submitted SWMPs via internet • Public can request email notification when SWMPs are available • Minimum 60 day review period • May request a public hearing by RWQCB • If hearing requested, meeting notice requirement procedures will be followed (30 day notice)
Approval • SWMPs must be reviewed and determined that they will meet the MEP standard before permit coverage commences • If public hearing requested - approval by the RWQCB • If no public hearing - approval by Executive Officer • Negotiations may occur before approval
