  6. 1898 : Nikola Tesla patented an idea for the remote control of vessels and vehicles. • 1915 -1920 : The beginning of emergence of electrical home appliances - cheap, mechanical replacements domestic servants . • 1930s : Controllers, which were able to make calculated changes in response to deviations from a set point rather than on-off control. • 1966 : Jim Sutherland developed a home automation system called “ECHO IV” • 1970s : Conversion of factories to digital control

  10. Controllers • Controller is a “heart” of control system. It provides an ability to connect, interact and control all connected devices. They cosnist of buses and different ports.

  11. TV tuners • TV tuner is a kind of television tunerthat allows television signals to be received by a computer. Most TV tuners also function as video capture cards and can receive FM radio stations .

  12. Switchers (commutatrors) • Switcher is a networking device that links network segments or network devices.

  13. Сontrol panels and keypads • Control panel and keypad are devices, which are used to interact with different types of objects as lights, TV, jalousie, projectors etc.
