CASE STUDYMumbai PPP Framework Initiative championed by Shri Ashish Kumar Singh (IAS) • Partners • Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai • Akanksha, Muktangan, Aseema, 3.2.1 (all non-profits) • Overall Goal • Improve quality of education delivery in MCGM schools and win children back into MCGM schools • Role of Partners • Complete autonomy in principal/ teacher selection, teacher training, progressive pedagogy • Staff salaries • Role of MCGM • Rent free access to school building, All govt. entitlements to students • Reimbursement to partner on per child basis (up to 60%)
