She has witnessed, firsthand, family conflict and the challenge of making financial decisions while mourning. She finds great satisfaction in helping individuals, families, and professionals design estate plans that provide peace of mind. She is a graduate of the University of Arkansas, in Fayetteville, AR. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Duke University. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Texas and is a member of the Collin County Bar, the Dallas Bar and the Texas State Bar Association. She is also a member of the Texas Bar College, an honorary society of Texas lawyers. Kamilah volunteers with the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program providing pro bono wills services to income-eligible clients. Kamilah currently lives with her husband and children in Frisco, Texas. When she is not practicing law she enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family.
