1. Stackers – The basic need of warehouses Stackers has always been the key element for storage in warehouses, essentially used for light load applications. Stackers provide all the essential functions as stacking, loading, unloading and handling heavy materials in a warehouse or any storage space.

2. Key facts •Essentially used for light load applications, Stackers has been a low- cost alternative to forklifts. •Stackers offer easy maneuverability. They offer flexible loading and retrieval. Stackers can access small areas and confined places where forklifts cannot access. This makes sure that goods can be stacked in closer vicinity, thus using the storage space more efficiently. In such arrangements, forklifts cannot be used. •Stackers are easier to operate and easier to maintain. Role of stackers in industries •Used in paper industries for moving of Paper rolls from one place to another •Hydraulic Stackers is used in almost all industries for lifting and transporting skids, bales, baskets. •Walkie stackers are used in all industries to move pallets in the factories warehouses. •Drum Stackers are used in drum handling to lift, tilt and rotate metal/plastic drums. Our core strength has been constant support to our clients and we have offered more customizations for our products to suit our client’s needs. •One of our customers in plastic manufacturing required the equipment to load the die on injection moulding machine,. Earlier with the customer, when the die had to be loaded, it require to pick from the rack by overhead crane and bring near the machine . But for positioning the die, one person had to climb and directed the floating die to correct position which was taking a lot of time.Team jost’s studies the applications and suggested to use die loading stacker. Basically josts provided a roller bed duty fitted on the forks. We had insterted the forks into the die loading attachment . We had brought the stacker near to the rack where the die was kept and pulled it onto the attachment and carried it to the machine. On reaching near the machine , the stacker was lifted to the required position and the die was simply slid over the rollers of the attachment This die loading time was drastically reduced from 45 minutes to 10 minutes.

4. Electric Stacker with Die Loading arrangement •In another case pallet was required to tilted while traveling to ensure the load doesn’t fall while traveling.Although the customer was already using Racking system , but the asile width was fixed Jost’s team studied the applications and offered to provide mast tilt in the stacker design.Jost’s provided the mast with the tilt cylinder to give 3 to 4 degree tilt , which ensured that load disdn’t fall while traveling.Now customer could comply with the safety requirement without chnaging the Racking.
