  1. a b SupplementalFigure 1 Physical assignment of Pex31 homologs to chromosomes of the parental strains, 84R-62B (a) and Y93-245c-2(b). The 1.6 Mb chromosome of 84R-62B and chromosome I of Y93-245c-2 were fractionated by counter-clamped homogeneous electric field (CHEF) electrophoresis. The DNA fraction of each chromosome was subjected to restriction digestion with XhoI and separated by conventional electrophoresis using a 0.6 % agarose gel. Hybridization signals to the XhoI-digested DNAs were detected with pPex31 as a probe. The top and the bottom of each autoradiography correspond to the well and the bottom of the gel, respectively.
